Privacy and cookie policy

This says which of your data we receive, what for, how long we keep it and what you can do about it. Without legal language wherever legal language can be avoided.

Updated: 1 October 2026

In short

  • We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to advertisers.
  • What you leave in the form is used for exactly one thing: answering you.
  • We count visits ourselves, on the workshop's own server, without cookies.
  • Google's analytics and advertising do not switch on without your consent.
  • The map and the video load only after you click.

What data we receive

When you get in touch
The contact details you left, the details of the car and whatever you told us about the problem.
When we carry out a repair
The details of the car, the work history, the quotes and the photographs of the repair.
When you are only reading the site
The technical data your browser sends to any website so that the page can open at all. From it, our own visit counter records which page you opened and where you came from, your device type, system, browser, screen size and language, and the country and city worked out from your IP address. The counter also notes which buttons on the site you press, such as call or send the form, and whether the form went through. It leaves nothing in your browser and does not store the IP address itself.

What for, and on what basis

To answer you and carry out the repair
Art. 6(1)(b) RODO: steps taken at your request and performance of the contract.
To document the work carried out
Art. 6(1)(f) RODO: so that both you and we can confirm what was actually done.
Invoices and tax
Art. 6(1)(c) RODO: an obligation under Polish law.
Running and securing the site
Art. 6(1)(f) RODO: so that the site opens and is protected against abuse.
Counting visits
Art. 6(1)(f) RODO: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages people read and whether the site works. You can object; a browser with Do Not Track switched on is not counted at all.
Google analytics and advertising
Art. 6(1)(a) RODO: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

As long as the purpose we received it for requires, and no longer:

An enquiry that did not become a repair
Deleted once it is clear that there will be no repair.
Work history, quotes and photographs
For as long as a claim about the work carried out can be brought under the Polish Civil Code.
Invoices and tax documents
For the period tax law sets. We cannot shorten it.
Visit statistics
Two years, then deleted.
Your cookie choice
Stays in your browser, not with us. After a while we ask again.

Who this data can reach

We do not sell data. Access is limited to those without whom the service does not run: the site hosting, Cloudflare (the network that shields the site from attacks and delivers its pages), the accountants, and parts suppliers when a part has to be ordered for your car. With each of them we have a written data processing agreement (art. 28 RODO).

The site and the booking form run on servers in the European Economic Area. Every visit and every booking, however, passes through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., a US company, which sees your IP address and what you send on the way. Beyond that, data can leave the EEA only through an action of your own: if you loaded the Google map, wrote to us on Telegram, WhatsApp or at our Gmail address, or agreed to Google's analytics or advertising cookies.

The basis for such transfers is the European Commission's adequacy decision (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework), and should it cease to apply, the standard contractual clauses (art. 46(2)(c) RODO). A copy of the safeguards is available through our contacts.

Your rights

  • to find out which of your data we hold, and to get a copy of it;
  • to correct anything recorded wrongly;
  • to have data deleted, where we no longer have grounds to hold it;
  • to restrict the processing or to object to it;
  • to receive your data in a usable format, to pass to another service;
  • to withdraw consent, where you gave it, at any time;
  • to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

We do not take automated decisions producing legal effects concerning you. To exercise any right, writing or calling is enough: we answer within a month. A complaint is lodged with the Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.

Cookies

Cookies are small records a website leaves in your browser. Under Polish law (Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej, art. 399) everything beyond what the site needs to work requires your consent. The same applies to other browser storage. Our visit counter uses neither, which is why it is not on the list below.

Necessaryalways on
The only category that runs without consent. Right now it holds one record: your decision about cookies, so that you are not asked on every page.
Functional
The map and social video do not load by themselves. Until you click them, your browser never contacts those services.
Analytics
Google's statistics would go here if we switch them on. There are no cookies of this kind on the site today. Our own visit counter is not on this list: it stores nothing in your browser.
Marketing
Advertising would go here if the workshop ever runs any. Without your consent these tags do not load at all.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, using the same button at the foot of every page:

Photographs from the repair

We photograph the work because photos of the job are what we promise every customer. The rules are simple:

  • in anything published, the number plate and the VIN are masked;
  • there are no people in frame;
  • somebody else's car is never published without the owner's consent;
  • if you change your mind, write to us and the photo comes off the public pages.

Changes to this policy

When something new appears on the site that works with data, we update this document and the date at the top. If the change affects something you consented to, we ask again.
